Choirun Sholeh Born in Klaten, June 17, 1967, the last child of five siblings. Starting drawing since elementary school, he won several awards when he took part in the painting competition from elementary school to the district level. After graduating from high school, he began to focus on a painting by autodidact, considering that continuing school at the Academy of Arts was not possible because of mediocre family life. At that time he could paint. Choirun Sholeh often collided with the question of asking parents to make it impossible to add, at that time painting tools were quite expensive for a beginner.

     In 1987, after graduating from high school, his determination was strong to be able to channel his painting talent. In order to buy painting tools, Choirun Sholeh began earning money by selling cut ice (es Agogo) in Tembilahan Indragiri Hilir, Riau. Behind the wheelbarrow, he went around every alley and street in the city of Tembilahan and from there he got the money and started buying tools to continue his hobbies and painting talents. although sometimes there are only relatives or friends who ask for his paintings. His business in Riau runs for 2 years

 

     In 1990, began to open a painting studio in his own home. At that time, the paintings had already been bought by people. but still could not cover the costs of buying so that the painting business could still run, because the buyers of the paintings were only neighbours and those around him. At that time the paintings were sold very cheaply. sometimes can not set a decent price of the talent to paint it. In other words, Choirun Sholeh can only relieve by letting the buyer up to want to pay how much to replace the cost of buying paint. and again collided for the cost of painting tools alternating work began selling plastic wrap at the Sleman Market selling fruit at Semarang Johar Market to sandpaper in the Semarang Small Industry Institute.

     In 1991, Choirun Sholeh finally decided to sell ice cut again in the city of Sambas, West Kalimantan, he still had to struggle because it was only by selling ice that money could be collected as much as possible and paints could be bought and so on, every time paint was used up.

     In 1992, Jakarta was the next meeting for a Choirun Sholeh. Start testing and explaining the results of paintings in Jakarta, where money and people are a gathering place. It was in Jakarta that he began to study more seriously with the results of his paintings and Alhamdulillah he was able to rent a small house in the area of Agung Lenteng with the determination of Choirun Sholeh to offer his card from door to door to the house of the rich. travelling from morning to evening sometimes when returning to the rent none of the results.      In 1994, Choirun Sholeh was married and then decided to live in Yogyakarta with his wife and children. in this Yogya he collected his works until 1997 after his championship collected works began Choirun Sholeh tried to include his works at FKY (Yogyakarta Art Festival) as a venue for his first painting exhibition. After that, life began as a painting artist began even more diligently. His wife, who is also a graduate of IKIP Yogya majoring in Dance, also supports the husband's profession as a servant of the art of wading the ark of life together in the joys and sorrows of a family of artists who make a living from their works of art.

 

     In 1997, Choirun Sholeh continued to take part in exhibitions from FKY, Bazaar Seni, Beber Seni, National Jamboree of Fine Arts, and exhibitions in five-star hotels were not spared by the works of Choirun Sholeh.

      In 2000, after art lovers and collectors began to know him Choirun Sholeh chose to move and settle in Klaten as the place where he was born. Building a house and studio in Klten for his painting activities to date.
